Navigating Depression and Shame and Still Showing Up Powerfully
Updated: Aug 10, 2019
I’m excited to share with you a conversation I had with my dear friend and fellow coach, Carolyn Creed. Her Gentle Warrior Collective is for entrepreneurs who are looking to shake up the world with love, compassion, connection and community.
Here’s what she had to say about our chat:
“Meaningful connection + sharing our story + voicing our truth + not trying to force, fake or hide ANYTHING = my dream world!!
Every week we will be featuring a different member and this week I am honoured to share with you the lovely Michelle Lazar Anhang.
Michelle speaks openly about struggling with her mental health - again, something I also share and I know so many of you do as well - and about carrying shame and stigma for YEARS around the death of her husband.
Michelle and I were in stitches at some points, a testament to the fact that when we bring what's in the dark - or what society has told us to keep in the dark - into the light and we bathe it in love and acceptance, well then, it doesn't have to feel so damn dark and heavy.
Here's to all of us growing, learning and leading together. I am so glad you're here. xoxo”
